Course fishing in Belturbet

July 24, 2009

Belturbet is lcoated in County Cavan and is built of the banks of the river Erne and is ideally located between the major lake system of lough Oughter and Lough Gowna in the south and Upper Lough Erne in the north. This explains its attraction as an idealbase for exploring these great waters where Bream, Roach, Hybrids, Pike and Perch are abundent. When Angling along the Erne take particular note of the Creamery Stretch which produces good catches of Roche. The Putiaghan Lake whic is located 1.5 miles from Belturbet has a big head of Roach and Perch as well as good Tench. Killylea Lake further to the north is connected to the river Erne and has a fine stock of Roach. Fortview House B&B Cavan is ideal for your accommodation and fishing never was as good.
